I am unashamedly a huge fan of Avatar: the Last Airbender.

Stuff that would be great to do right now
- Sit in a beer garden with friends all evening
- Watch the sunset (that is, when it sets)
- Sit by the lake with friends
- Go for a super long walk
- Sit on a beach
I can unfortunately think of too many reasons why none of these are possible right now at this moment.

So… tell me again, why is this necessary?
This is necessary because people like you are questioning whether it’s necessary. I think what Marvel is trying to point out is that gay people exist, believe it or not, and they are more than capable of being superheroes. In answer to your question, why isn’t this necessary? Can you answer me that?
I think it’s BRILLIANT that Marvel have done this. Genuinely brilliant. Good for Marvel. Good for Northstar, the x-man getting married in the comic. It’s good for society, too. Your homophobia is pointless and ignorant.
